2026 municipal elections

 On Monday, October 26, 2026, residents of Adjala-Tosorontio will elect their next Mayor, Council, and School Board Trustees. Here's what you need to know to vote with confidence. 

• Council enacted a By-law to authorize the use of alternative voting methods, being Internet and Telephone Voting for the 2026 Municipal Election.
• Internet/Telephone voting is an accessible and secure alternative voting method that can improve voter access by enabling eligible electors to remotely cast their vote from a variety of devices during the Voting Period.
• Electors on the Voters List, at the time of mailing, will receive a Voter Information Letter containing the electors unique PIN, voting instructions, and the internet address/telephone number to cast their vote.
• Voting Period — Friday, October 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m.
