About ME
- Miklos Borsos was born in Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1989.
- Married to Andrea since 1986 with 2 adult children, both whom are now university graduates.
- After 5 years in Beeton, the family moved to Everett in 1999.
- Working in the auto industry for over 30 years initially as an Auto Mechanic (310A-RSE), later as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist at Honda and most recently as Field Quality & Tech Support Manager (Budget management in access of $10M/ year) and Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator for a major automotive manufacturer.
- Miklos has completed his post-secondary education to earn a Mechanical Engineering Technologist license, an Executive Certificate in Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Windsor-Law School as well as his Business Management Diploma from Seneca College
- He has been involved with Township & Community affairs for the past 15 years, mostly regarding issues in & around the Township's OPA 8, 10 & 15 (Official Plan Amendment), more specifically about developments in the Everett Expansion Area and about infrastructure (roads / water / sewer).
- Miklos is also a long standing member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Parish serving the Catholic Community of Adjala-Tosorontio. The parish includes The Immaculate Conception Church located on Concession 5 just south of Highway 89, only a 5 minutes drive from Everett.
